This is the perfect role for you if you are a recruiter who loves connecting HR professionals with their next assignment. This is an all-around commercial recruitment role, with a strong component of (HR) community building. You will help our clients grow, by providing them with the best HR talent. You have to love matchmaking, be commercially driven and have something special that sets you apart from other recruiters!

These are exciting phases, improving their ability to attract, retain, and engage their people. We provide advice and support on all aspects of the employee journey and people strategy.

Your Role:

As our Recruiter, you will work alongside our in-house HR consultants and work closely with the Recruitment Lead, Esther.

You will build a large HR talent pool and get to know the Dutch HR community very well. You will assist our clients in finding their new HR talent - on both a permanent and an interim basis - and also find new HR consultants for our 7people internal team.


✨ You will know where to find HR professionals and have the interpersonal skills to build an impressive network with them!

✨ HR professionals will know where to find you and you will be able to link them to their new amazing opportunity with one of our clients.
✨ You will advertise job roles online, manage applicants and proactively approach / source candidates for interim and permanent roles.

✨ You will pre-screen / interview candidates and present the long- and shortlists to our clients.

✨ You will build relationships with our clients and advise them on the best HR profiles for their opportunities. 

✨ There is also plenty of opportunity to do business development to help build your desk and momentum for 7people!


Your focus roles:

  • HR Executive Search (retained) = Head of People / VP People / CHRO profiles

  • HR Experienced Search = mid to senior-level profiles such as HRBP and People Lead

  • Optional: HR Interim roles = mid to senior-level profiles on an interim basis

What we need you to bring:

☑️ Relevant recruitment experience - at least 2+ years experience as a recruiter, with an agency or in an in-house role. Ideally, you’ve recruited for (permanent) HR roles - and it’s even better if you understand the start- and scale-up landscape.

💖 You enjoy proactively reaching out to people and companies you don’t know yet! This is a role in which you will be the ultimate networker and business developer (about 25% of your time), in a way that matches with our values (kind & transparent) and not pushy at all…

👀 You can work independently, and you know when to ask for help.

📈 You love working on multiple assignments at the same time. You are an excellent planner of your time.

👩🏼‍💻 You are creative, tech-savvy and love innovation. You are always looking for new ways to work smarter and more efficiently. When it comes to creating presentations or designing a visual process, you know your way around in tools like Canva and Notion (or you are a very fast learner!)

🇳🇱 You are based locally, have recruitment experience in the Netherlands - fluent English & Dutch language skills are a must!

✍🏻 Creative writing and design skills - because our job adverts should look great, read well and entice the right candidates!

What we offer you in return:

  • Salary: the range is €4000 - €5000 per month base + holiday allowance. Where you 'sit' in this range depends on your experience. You can grow within 7people's career framework, we have a transparent salary model.

  • Bonus: You work towards an annual number of placements, if you exceed this there is a significant bonus opportunity (10+K per year)

  • Travel reimbursement: actual travel costs home-office (bike, car or public transport).

  • Do something fun for yourself allowance: we give you €50 every month to spoil yourself.

  • Mobile phone allowance: €25 per month.

  • Lovely office in Amsterdam - where we work together, get inspired and enjoy the rooftop. We also work onsite for clients, which can be based anywhere in the Netherlands.

  • Top Tools; a MacBook, Bose noise-cancelling headset, and an excellent tech set up. We work in G-Suite, have large 2nd screens in the office, wireless everything, no internal emails - just Slack.

  • Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave, and a few extra days here and there to celebrate life.

  • Hours: 32 or 40 hrs a week.

  • Hybrid role: at least a few days per week in our office.
