We’re looking for an Interim People Operations Specialist who can step in and make an immediate impact. We’re supporting our client , which is a fast-moving tech company with a global reach.


This interim role is all about making sure the people side of the business runs just as smoothly as the tech. You’ll ensure their employees are well taken care of, processes are efficient, and compliance is rock solid, all while bringing a warm, human touch.


💼 What you’ll do:

  • Manage the employee journey – Lead onboarding and offboarding processes with care and efficiency, ensuring smooth transitions at every stage.

  • Deliver perfect payroll – Oversee payroll processing with absolute precision, meeting deadlines and ensuring full compliance with Dutch labour law.

  • Be the trusted point of contact – Answer employee queries with clarity and empathy, making sure policies and processes are well understood.

  • Keep compliance on track – Manage absenteeism in line with Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, supporting colleagues in successful reintegration.

  • Harness the power of data – Maintain an accurate HRIS, produce insightful reports, and help guide data-informed decisions.

  • Continuously improve – Spot opportunities to make people processes more effective and take them from idea to implementation.

Job requirements

🧠 What we need you to bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a People Operations role, ideally in a scaling or fast-paced environment.

  • Solid knowledge of HR operations, payroll (local/international), Dutch labour law, and HR policies.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Personio is preferred) and handling sensitive, confidential data.

  • Fluent in Dutch & English.

  • A proactive problem-solver who spots opportunities for improvement others might miss.

  • Skilled communicator, able to influence and engage stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a collaborative team player.
