As the People Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of a fast-scaling, international company, ensuring employees have an exceptional experience from the moment they join until their next adventure. You’ll combine your HR expertise with creativity and a can-do attitude to help shape, improve, and implement processes that truly make a difference.
You’ll report to the HR Director, and have solid experience in people operations with knowledge of Dutch labor law. You manage People Operations, bring structure to a growing organization and help implement the new HRIS system.
This role is perfect for someone who’s flexible, solutions-driven, and loves building and creating. Someone who enjoys thinking outside the box while keeping things running smoothly.
💼 What you’ll do:
HR Administration: Manage daily HR operational tasks, including employee records management, contract preparation, and processing employee changes (mutations) with accuracy and care.
Onboarding: Coordinate a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, from preparing contracts to arranging orientation sessions and providing the right tools for success.
Offboarding: Ensure positive and compliant departures by coordinating exit interviews, final settlements, and return of company property.
Payroll Oversight: Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider. Checking accuracy and ensuring payments are correct, without having to process them yourself.
Visas & Work Permits: Support visa and permit applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
30% Ruling: Manage the application and renewal process for the 30% ruling, ensuring accurate submissions to tax authorities.
Employee Relations: Be a trusted point of contact for employees, offering guidance on policies, benefits, and HR processes while maintaining a people-first approach.
Compliance: Ensure all HR processes meet Dutch labor laws and internal policies.
Reporting & Analytics: Produce accurate HR reports on headcount, turnover, and other key metrics to support decision-making.
People Projects: Drive and contribute to HR initiatives, from process improvements to cultural projects, supporting the company’s rapid growth.
Job requirements
🧠 What we need you to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a People Operations or HR administration role.
Fluent in English both written and spoken - Dutch is a big plus.
Strong understanding of Dutch labor law and HR best practices.
Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Familiarity with payroll oversight, visa applications, and the 30% ruling.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Flexible, resourceful, and a creative problem-solver with a builder’s mindset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

🤑 Salary range between €52.000 – €71.500 (depending on your experience).
📍Office in Zoeterwoude with a hybrid working model.
⏰ 32-40 hour work week.
