  • On-site, Hybrid
    • Amsterdam
  • €3,000 - €4,000 per month

This is a perfect role for you if you have recruitment experience and want to grow into an all-round People and Culture professional.

Job description

This is a perfect role for you if you have recruitment experience and want to grow into an all-round HR professional.

You will help our clients to grow and professionalize, by providing solid recruitment and HR advise on a range of topics, and by being their go-to people person.

About 7people

We are the People and Culture team helping organizations to become irresistible. As builders at heart, we help fast-moving companies transition to their next phase. These are exciting phases, improving their ability to attract, retain, and engage their people. We provide advice and support on all aspects of the employee journey and people strategy. We work with a number of great companies and we keep being asked for more... :). This is why we are looking for an additional team member.

Your Role

As People and Culture Specialist you will help our clients with all their people processes. For some clients you will work as interim Recruiter, HR Generalist, or People Operations Specialist. This can be to cover for someone on leave, or until we have helped them fill those positions on a more permanent basis. From recruitment to off-boarding and everything in between, you get to cover the full employee lifecycle. Think of topics such as:

  • Recruitment

  • Employer branding

  • HR tooling

  • People Operations

  • Onboarding and offboarding

  • Employee handbooks

  • … and many more as you grow into a broader role!

You will learn to analyse the priorities of our client at the start of each assignment, and defining the action plan and next steps.

Then you will execute the plan, which can include setting up training, creating guidelines and templates as well as the day-to-day implementation of (new) HR processes.

You will often (help to) build their People and Culture foundation, setting up all of the basics for them to grow. Implementing a new ATS or HRIS can also be part of a project, especially when the company doesn't have these in place yet.

Any HR topic which might come up, you'll jump onto and help them do it the best way possible. You work with founders, managers and HR colleagues at these clients. No assignment is the same!

It's the broadest HR role possible, and a huge learning opportunity if you are interested in all aspects of this field.

What we need you to bring

  • ☑️ Relevant experience, probably between 2-4 years. You've worked as Recruiter, People Operations Specialist, HR Administrator or HR generalist or in a similar role. (Recruitment experience is a must.)

  • 💖 You enjoy Recruitment & People Operations! The role is a combination of both, and you should enjoy the idea of doing both.

  • 👀 You can work independently, and you know when to ask for help. You'll often work in a duo or as part of a team, so you're not left by yourself, but doing a project yourself shouldn't scare you.

  • 📈 You love the idea of working for multiple clients at the same time. You are an excellent planner of your time.

  • 👩🏼‍💻 You are creative, tech-savvy and love innovation. You always looking for new ways to work smarter and more efficient. When it comes to creating presentations or designing a visual process - you know your way around in tools like Canva and Notion (or you are a very fast learner!)

  • 🇳🇱 Knowledge of Dutch employment law is a must. You don't have to speak Dutch, but we do need experience in an HR/recruitment role in the Netherlands.

  • ✍🏻 Creative writing skills. We write a lot (handbooks, templates, guidelines) for our clients. Your English writing skills have to be excellent, with a knack for understanding the right tone of voice.

  • 😎 These apply to you: Curious, Flexible, Independent, Warm, Helpful, Energy, Positive and Pro-Active.

We know it's a lot to ask, but we are looking for a pretty awesome person. A creative People & Culture specialist, who will delight our clients with fresh ideas and a lot of energy. In return you get to work for some of the most incredible companies out there 🔥

What we offer in return

  • Accelerate your career: This is a rare opportunity to fast-track your career in People and Culture, by working for a diverse range of exciting companies - as part of our super passionate team.

  • Learning Friday’s! On Fridays we often work together in the office. Besides working for clients, we also inspire each other, increase our own knowledge, attend workshops, brainstorm, learn, have a nice lunch, and have fun. It ensures we spend valuable time together to build our team, our culture and our knowledge 💡.

  • Salary: The range is €3000 - €4000 per month + holiday allowance. Where you 'sit' in this range depends on your experience. You can grow significantly within 7people's career framework, we have a transparent salary model.

  • Commercial incentives: When happy clients extend their contract or you introduce us to new clients, you are rewarded for this each time with €500!

  • Travel reimbursement: Actual travel costs home-office (bike, car or public transport).

  • Do something fun for yourself allowance: We give you €50 every month to spoil yourself.

  • Mobile phone allowance of €25 per month.

  • Financial planning: Unlimited access to a personal financial planner, financial education and tooling with Equip.

  • Lovely office in Amsterdam West - where we work together, get inspired and enjoy the rooftop. We also work onsite for clients, which can be based anywhere in the Netherlands.

  • Top Tools: A MacBook, Bose noise-cancelling headset, and an excellent tech set up. We work in G-Suite, have large 2nd screens in the office, wireless everything, no internal emails - just Slack.

  • Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave, and a few extra days here and there to celebrate life.

  • Hours: A full-time (5 days per week / 40 hours) role.

  • Hybrid role: We work onsite at our clients quite a bit. There is some flexibility - and we do call it a hybrid role. But we often work 3-4 days per week in an office (either our own or from the client).

  • Inspirational work environment: A place where you will learn faster than anywhere else. We strongly believe in continuous learning and help each other proactively to become better at what we do.

🇳🇱 LOCATION NOTE: You have to be currently based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements. We can't sponsor or relocate someone for this position. The location is Amsterdam, and the role requires working from onsite our office as well as our clients.
