About 7people

We are the People and Culture team helping organizations to become irresistible. As builders at heart, we help fast-moving companies transition to their next phase. These are exciting phases, improving their ability to attract, retain, and engage their people. We provide advice and support on all aspects of the employee journey and people strategy. We work with a number of great companies and we keep being asked for more... :). This is why we are looking for an additional team member.

Your Role

As People and Culture Specialist, you will help our clients with their operational people processes.

Think of topics such as:

  • People Operations - You can be first line of contact for employee questions, processing changes in the HR system)

  • Onboarding and Offboarding - Ensure new employees receive everything they need to get onboarded, and when people leave you support with the right process to ensure they leave in a good way.)

  • Recruitment and Employer Branding - You help with posting jobs in the company pages and LinkedIn, and where possible other recruitment sites. You get involved in screening candidates and scheduling interviews. At times you also contribute to employer branding initiatives, generating additional publicity for the company.

  • HR tooling - You ensure the systems they use (HRIS / ATS) are updated with the right information. Sometimes you get to help with implementing these systems.

  • Contracts / Visa’s / Payroll - These are the HR processes you will support with. If you are currently unfamiliar with these, you’ll learn all about them!

  • Employee Handbooks - We often create Employee Handbooks and FAQ’s, to ensure the employees can find all the information they are looking for easily. You assist with creating these, contributing to a smooth employee experience.

  • … and much more as you grow into your role.

Any HR topic which might come up, you'll jump onto and help them do it the best way possible. You work with founders, managers and HR colleagues at these clients. No assignment is the same! You will always have the support of our team where needed.

It's the broadest HR role possible, and a huge learning opportunity if you are interested in all aspects of this field.

What we need you to bring

  • ☑️ Relevant experience - A little bit of work experience would be ideal. For example in HR, office management or administration. This can be gained during a previous part-time job or internship.

  • 🇳🇱 Dutch speaker, with knowledge of Dutch employment law - You study HR or a similar field, and have a good understanding of Dutch labor law. No need for in-depth knowledge, but this is your field!

  • 💖 You are interested in all aspects of HR - The role covers all elements of the HR cycle, and you’ll have to be interested in becoming good at every aspect. This includes contract, payroll, administration, recruitment, etc.

  • 👀 You can work independently, but you know when to ask for help. You'll often work in a duo or as part of a team, so you're not left by yourself, but doing a project yourself shouldn't scare you.

  • 👩🏼‍💻 You are creative and tech-savvy - When it comes to creating presentations you know your way around in tools like Canva and Notion (or you are a very fast learner!).

  • ✍🏻 Creative writing skills. We write a lot (handbooks, templates, guidelines) for our clients. Your English writing skills have to be good, with a knack for understanding the right tone of voice.

  • 😎 These apply to you: Curious, Flexible, Independent, Warm, Helpful, Positive and Pro-Active.
