The perfect role to combine with your HR studies, if you are available for at least 16 hours per week. Support clients on topics such as people operations, HR administration and recruitment.
Job description
The perfect role to combine with your HR studies, if you are available for at least 16 hours per week (2 full days, or 1 full day and 2 half days) You will help our clients by providing support on all topics of the HR cycle and be the go-to HR person for their employees. No two projects are the same - this is a broad, hands-on role and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the People and Culture field.
About 7people:
We are a People and Culture consultancy, helping organizations to become irresistible. As builders at heart, we help fast-moving companies transition to their next phase. These are exciting phases, improving their ability to attract, retain, and engage their people. We provide advice and support on all aspects of the employee journey and people strategy.
Your Role:
As a People and Culture Specialist at 7people, you will help our clients with all their people processes. You get to cover the entire employee lifecycle - think of topics such as;
People Operations
Employee Data - HRIS / ATS - administration
Employee Experience
HR tooling implementation / updating
HR advising
Contracts / visas and permits / Payroll
Onboarding and Off-boarding
Employee handbooks
Internal communication
Recruitment and Employer Branding
… and many more as you grow into a broader role!
You’ll work closely with HR teams across a wide range of HR topics
What we need you to bring:
☑️ Relevant experience - You need some prior experience in HR administration. This can be gained in previous work, or during internships.
💖 You enjoy all aspects of HR, including recruitment! The role covers all elements of the employee lifecycle and you have to be interested in becoming good in every aspect - our assignments cover the A-Z of HR.
👀 You can work independently, and you know when to ask for help. You'll often work in a duo or as part of a team, so you're not left by yourself, but doing a project autonomously shouldn't scare you.
📈 You are an excellent planner of your time.
👩🏼💻 You are creative, tech-savvy and love innovation. You always looking for new ways to work smarter and more efficient. When it comes to creating presentations or designing a visual process, you know your way around in tools like Canva and Notion (or you are a very fast learner!)
🇳🇱 Knowledge of Dutch employment law is a must - that’s why we need to see experience in an HR role in the Netherlands.
🗣️ Fluency in both English & Dutch is a must-have
✍🏻 Creative writing skills - we write a lot (handbooks, templates, guidelines) for our clients, so our English writing skills have to be pretty good, with a knack for understanding the right tone of voice.
😎 People describe you as; Curious, Flexible, Independent, Hands-on, Warm, Helpful, Positive, Proactive.
What we offer you in return:
Accelerate your career: This is a rare opportunity to fast-track your career in People and Culture, by working for a diverse range of exciting companies - as part of our super passionate team.
Salary: The range is €2700 - €2900 per month + holiday allowance. Where you 'sit' in this range depends on your experience.
Travel reimbursement: actual travel costs home-office (bike, car or public transport).
Do something fun for yourself allowance: we give you €25 every month to spoil yourself.
Lovely office in Amsterdam - where we work together, get inspired and enjoy the rooftop. We also work onsite for clients, which can be based anywhere in the Netherlands.
Top Tools; a MacBook, Bose noise-cancelling headset, and an excellent tech set up. We work in G-Suite, have large 2nd screens in the office, wireless everything, no internal emails - just Slack.
Leave: Paid annual leave (25 days if you’d work fulltime, this will be pro-rated)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Onsite role: We work onsite at our clients or from our office.
Inspirational work environment: A place where you will learn faster than anywhere else. We strongly believe in continuous learning and help each other proactively to become better at what we do.
🇳🇱 LOCATION NOTE: You must be based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements. Unfortunately, we can't sponsor or relocate someone for this position.
