Learning Design & Facilitation Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced facilitator who wants to do more than just workshop delivery. We’re expanding our training services, and are looking for someone to join the team and work on growing this part of our business together with Sanne.

You get the opportunity to do it all: from client intake and learning needs analysis to workshop design and actual facilitation. 

We design and facilitate workshops that are dynamic, practical and anything but boring, focused on employee and (first-time) manager development. Most workshops are face-to-face, and our clients range from start- and scale-ups, to larger international companies.

Key topics include feedback, difficult conversations, talent acquisition, conscious communication, personal development, and coaching for growth. We are also DiSC and StrengthsFinder licensed.

A bit of background

We’ve been designing & facilitating workshops and training for our clients ever since the start of 7people. What’s new is that we’re now offering those workshops and training as a stand-alone service.

The past few months have been all about (re)designing and testing our modules. Now we are ready to roll! And with that - we are looking for an experienced facilitator who absolutely loves to guide groups of people towards more knowledge, skills & connection. 

Your Role

This is what you’ll be doing:

• Facilitating workshops, ranging from one-offs to full programmes that last months

• Design (and redesign) workshops, creating inspirational, dynamic and practical sessions

• Build and grow this part of our business: create proposals for potential clients, set it up in a scalable way, ‘a smooth and structured’ part of our business that you co-own

• Salary: The range is €5000 - €6000 per month + holiday allowance. Where you 'sit' in this range depends on your experience.

• Commercial bonus: If our training services are doing well financially (which you can impact directly) - you get a commercial bonus.

• Profit share: Success with us is always shared. 7people shares a % of the profit at the end of each year with the team. This amount is discretionary and based on company results. Each team member receives the same (pro-rated) amount.

• Big Friday’s! Every last Friday of the month we get together at our office for our team day. It’s a day to connect, increase our own knowledge, attend workshops, brainstorm, learn, have a nice lunch, and have fun. It ensures we spend valuable time together to build our team, our culture and our knowledge 💡

• Travel reimbursement: Actual travel costs home-office (bike, car or public transport).

• Do something fun for yourself allowance: We give you €50 every month to spoil yourself.

• Mobile phone allowance of €25 per month.

• Lovely office in Amsterdam West - where we work together, get inspired and enjoy the rooftop. We also work onsite for clients, which can be based anywhere in the Netherlands.

• Top Tools: A MacBook Air, Bose noise-cancelling headset, and an excellent tech set up. We work in G-Suite, have large 2nd screens in the office, wireless everything, no internal emails - just Slack.

• Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave, and a few extra days here and there to celebrate life.

• Hours: This role is for 32/40 hours a week. Most of the training will be on-site at the client’s office or training location. There is some flexibility to wfh- and we do call it a hybrid role. But we often work 3-4 days per week in an office (either our own or from the client).

🇳🇱 LOCATION NOTE: You must be currently based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements. We can't sponsor or relocate someone for this position. The location is Amsterdam, and the role requires working from on-site at our office as well as with our clients.

What we need you to bring

☑️ 3+ years of relevant experience as a facilitator. You’ve done this before. Either as a fulltime role, or as part of your HR role. You can read the room, adapt on the fly, and know how to keep people engaged.
💡 Experience working in HR - Our workshops are appreciated by clients because we bring in real-life examples from first-hand experience of working with teams & managers as HR people. This brings depth of knowledge and a great anecdote library to pull from.

💖 You enjoy all aspects of the job, from learning needs analysis, to (re)design and the actual facilitation work. 

👀 You can work independently, and you know when to ask for help.

📈 You love the idea of working for multiple clients at the same time. You are an excellent planner of your time.

👩🏼‍💻 You are tech-savvy and love innovation. You are always looking for new ways to work smarter and more efficient. When it comes to creating presentations or designing a visual process - you know your way around in tools like Canva and Notion (or you are a very fast learner!)

🇳🇱🇬🇧 You’re fluent in both Dutch and English. Fluent in the sense that you can make jokes, tell inspiring stories and adjust flexibly to situations in a workshop in both languages. 

🧨 You bring creative flair. You’re great at coming up with original and fresh ways of doing things. This ensures the workshops you design are inspiring, practical and memorable. You find ways to interact with groups that leave them inspired and ready for action.
