Job description
We’re looking for an HR Director/ CHRO who can help a fast-moving EMEA HR team get clarity, cut friction, and build for the future.
The profile: A senior, independent advisor working alongside EMEA HR leadership. The mission is to make the whole HR function work better together, across HR Ops, Payroll, Total Rewards, HRBPs, Employee Relations, and Talent Acquisition.
💼 What you’ll do:
✨ Map how the HR function actually operates today and find what's broken, duplicated, or unclear.
✨ Spot compliance risks, governance gaps, and where things fall through the cracks.
✨ Define who owns what, and how teams should work together.
✨ Build a practical roadmap toward a future-ready EMEA HR model.
Big part of the role: leadership coaching. This isn't just a diagnostics project. A big chunk of the work is sitting alongside HR leadership - shadowing, advising, challenging, and coaching on how to lead a complex, multi-discipline HR team with clarity and confidence.
Job requirements
🧠 What you’ll bring (experience)
✅ A senior HR pro with real EMEA depth across multiple HR disciplines.
✅ Comfortable advising at exec level without needing formal authority.
✅ Sharp, discreet, fact-based - and a genuine thought partner.
The goal: Leave the EMEA HR team stronger, clearer, and more capable than you found it.
👉 What you can expect.
📍 Location: Amsterdam with 4 days in office (Monday - Thursday).
📅 Start: immediate (start within 1-2 weeks).
⏰ Hours: Fulltime, 40 hrs (not less).
📄 Contract: 3 months with option to extend.
