We’re looking for an interim Employee Relations Specialist to join a dynamic tech scale-up in the Netherlands. You’re a HR Generalist/ HR BP with a strong interest in handling complex employee cases.

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in Employee Relations and a knack for handling complex employee cases? We're looking for an interim Employee Relations Specialist to join a dynamic tech scale-up in the Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to impact a fast-paced, people-focused organization by supporting managers and employees through challenging situations.

💼 What You'll Do:
✨ Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on sensitive employee relations matters such as terminations, performance management, and grievances for all of our hubs.
✨ Take ownership of complex cases, devising strategies and collaborating with legal experts when necessary.

✨ Work closely with leadership to ensure empathetic, balanced decision-making that aligns with business goals.

✨Provide expert advice on Dutch labor law and employee relations best practices. Experience with other countries is a plus.
✨ Support HR Business Partners by focusing on case management, while they concentrate on engagement and succession planning.

Job requirements

🧠 What you’ll bring (experience)
✅ A seasoned HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist with experience managing complex employee cases.
✅ Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Experience with other EMEA countries is a plus.

✅ A proactive problem-solver who can hit the ground running and deliver results in a short-term assignment.

📍 Location: Amsterdam (hybrid - one day in office)
📅 Start: ASAP (within 4 weeks would be ideal)

⏰ Hours: 32-40 hours
📄 Contract: 6 months (with option to extend)
